North East Couple Is Off On Their Travels

A County Durham woman is the lucky winner of a holiday to one of her favourite cities thanks to Miller Homes North East.

Kirstien Mabon, 41, from Easington Colliery, and her husband are set to enjoy an all-expenses paid trip to Edinburgh after winning the competition organised in conjunction with the leading housebuilder.

As part of the competition Justin and Kelly, Heart North East’s breakfast show hosts, visited Miller Homes’ Park View development in Gateshead, to star in their very own mini soap opera ‘Miller Homes is where the Heart is’. Viewers were then asked a simple question about the episode for the chance to win.

Lucky winner Kirstien was awarded her prize by Miller Homes at The Meadows development in Framwellgate Moor. She said: “My husband and I own a small business so it will be nice to have the opportunity to enjoy some time off together to relax. Edinburgh is one of my favourite cities in the world and I’ve been hoping to revisit for some time. I’m so thrilled that I won and can’t thank Miller Homes enough.”

Andrew Somerville, Miller Homes North East’s regional sales manager, added: “It was great fun to team up with Heart North East and welcome Justin and Kelly into the Albert showhome and Saltwell House apartments at Park View, to create ‘Miller Homes is where the Heart is’.
