Christmas campaign brings gift to Ilkley agency
An Ilkley-based PR agency is celebrating continued success after being shortlisted for the Regional Campaign of the Year category at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ PRide awards.
Approach PR, which won the title in 2013 and took home the silver and gold category accolades in 2014 is in the running for the award for its work with the Country Living Christmas Fair in Harrogate.
The announcement was first revealed on Twitter on 17 July and marks the 10th consecutive year Approach PR has been shortlisted for the CIPR PRide awards which celebrates the most talented agencies and outstanding campaigns in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.
The agency, which was founded in 2001 by Suzanne Watson, has over 24 industry and business awards and accolades, including the CIPR PRide Regional Campaign of the Year for its work with Bradford’s Rising Stars programme, its continued CSR public relations efforts for Ilkley Carnival and its media relations campaign to launch Sheffield-based barbecue restaurant, Smoke.
Managing director of Approach PR, Suzanne, said: “We work with brands nationally but Yorkshire is our home so we’re delighted to be in with a chance of retaining our Regional Campaign of the Year winners’ title for a third year at the CIPR PRide awards 2015.
“To receive recognition alongside our industry peers demonstrates Approach PR’s continued dedication in delivering creative, results-driven and successful PR campaigns.”
The annual Yorkshire and Lincolnshire CIPR PRide Awards will be held at Aspire, Leeds, on 26 November.
