Moonpig beats the last post

Moonpig customers can now order personalised cards online until 7pm Monday-Friday, an industry first for the online card market. The new 7pm cut-off is a move that will see Moonpig extend its current time by a further three hours; significantly later than the 4pm deadline that many of its competitors currently offer, and later than most post boxes across the country.

“Customers are at the heart of everything we do at Moonpig, and by adapting our services to fit in with their busy lifestyles we can make things a little bit easier for them,” comments, James Sturrock, Moonpig’s Managing Director. “Extending our order cut-off time helps us to enhance the customer experience and ensure last-minute buyers have a little more time to pick the right card for that special someone. A quick and reliable card delivery service supports the great experience the Moonpig team prides itself on. It is only natural for people to forget, and now if a loved one’s birthday is accidently overlooked, our customers can simply order later in the day without panicking. The Moonpig Reminder Service that a lot of our customers already use, can also help the more forgetful amongst us. We hope our new services will mean our customers never forget a birthday again.”

For a small additional cost, the new 7pm postal option is available now for card only orders, and will see them printed and sent the same day via first class post. Moonpig will continue to bring more brilliant innovations to their customers in the coming months, so watch this space.
