Anaplan’s Release Brings Powerful Performance Enhancements
Anaplan, the planning cloud for Finance, Sales, Operations and HR, today announced its 3rd platform release of 2015.
Chief Product Officer, Simon Tucker, said Anaplan’s third release of 2015 features an updated colour scheme for data visualization, usability and functionality enhancements, and performance improvements to make Anaplan’s highly interactive planning and analysis even more powerful.
The new UI delivers an accentuated focus on data representation. There are new colours for charts, optimized for easier comparison, and simpler designs for buttons and controls (for slicing and dicing, data import/export and formatting). Anaplan made the updates following extensive usability studies and research with the help of its customers. The new release is designed to be easy to adopt by both end-users and app model builders.
“Customers will also notice that Anaplan’s dashboards are not only more intuitive but deliver increased performance for large scale planning activities. We have customers now planning with tens of billions of cells and with thousands of users,” Tucker said.
Other features include a single sign-on for Anaplan Excel reporting to simplify user experience and for added security.
