Harrogate developer to transform Kier Group’s former offices

Following the firm’s relocation to Leeds, Kier Group offices in Boston Spa have now been sold to Harrogate developer Burr Living for an undisclosed sum.

The deal, which was completed by national property consultancy Carter Jonas last month, will see the 8,023 sq ft offices turned into a luxury five-bedroom townhouse and three attractive mews style properties.

The northern team of Kier Group, a leading property, residential, construction and services group, which occupied the site for many years, now bases operations in Thorpe Park, Leeds.

Steven Soper, surveyor with Carter Jonas, who handled the sale, said: “Over recent years we have seen a significant rise in sales of office space for redevelopment into residential property as the demand for housing in the UK also increases. The Kier Group site is a good size and in a prime location and we are delighted to have closed the deal with Burr Living.”
