Leeds United announce newest Elland Road partner
Leeds United has signed a new partnership deal with local company Gamezstation UK, with an aim of improving the Family Zone experience at Elland Road.
As the official partnership kicks off at the home game against Sheffield Wednesday (Saturday August 22, 12.30pm), the new ‘Gamezstation Pod’ will be installed in the stadium’s Family Areas of the East Stand concourse on matchdays.
The new attraction will feature four big screens and consoles where junior supporters can play the game before kick-off on FIFA.
FIFA games of four minutes duration will only be available before kickoff and during half time.
Scott Deighton, co-owner of Gamezstation UK, said: “This is a truly unbelievable opportunity for myself and my company.
“I have been a lifelong supporter of this amazing club, so for me to now be an official sponsor of the Fanzone programme - proud doesn’t quite cover it.
“I am delighted to be able to offer this service to Leeds United and to all our amazing fans and with this partnership in place we can continue to grow and look forward to continuing to give a reliable and affordable service. MOT!”
