New Italian restaurant to open in Deansgate
A new italian restaurant will be opening in Deansgate next month on the site of the former Cafe Rouge.
The eatery, called Prezzo, is reported to have cost £750k to develop and will be managed by Cindy Shulz, who will be working within a team of 25.
Set to launch on Friday, August 7, the open-plan restaurant will be able to accommodate up to 140 guests, while the venue’s entrance will open onto a bar area with additional seating.
Cindy commented: “The restaurant will serve the highest quality food in comfortable and stylish surroundings.
“I am confident that Prezzo will prove popular and be a great addition to Manchester’s vibrant eating-out scene.”
The restaurant’s pizza oven will be visible to diners and its decor will feature textured wall finishes and pendant lighting. Its culinary offering with include pizzas, pastas, risotto, salads and grilled dishes.
A spokesperson for Prezzo Manchester Deansgate, James Mundy, said: “We’re really excited to be opening our third restaurant in Manchester.
“It’s such a vibrant city with an ever-changing food and drink scene, so we’re proud to be launching yet another eatery here just three years since we first arrived in the city.
“We chose Deansgate thanks to its bustling and cosmopolitan atmosphere, with diners to the area always looking for a high quality and unique food offering, which complements Prezzo perfectly.”
He added: “We’d like to say thank you to all of our present and future customers, as we wouldn’t be celebrating our third opening in Manchester if it wasn’t for their loyal and continuing support.”
