Showhome launch at new David Wilson Homes development

Local housebuilder, David Wilson Homes, launched its new showhome this Saturday, at its new Applegarth Manor development in Oulton, Leeds, to crowds of more than 150 prospective buyers from the local community. The stunning new four-bedroom showhome at this luxurious development impressed locals, with two sales made over the weekend, highlighting that the housing market in the area is thriving.

The Winstone showhome is now available to view at this beautiful development of two, three, four and five bedroom homes set in the delightful village of Oulton. The Cornell housetype is also available to buy at Applegarth Manor, priced from £399,995. This four bedroom home makes the best use of light and space with an airy lounge featuring a bay window and a well-arranged kitchen benefitting from dining and family areas, adjoining utility room and a walk in bay window. Upstairs, the landing leads to the master bedroom with en suite shower room, two further double bedrooms, a single bedroom and a family bathroom.

As part of the leading developer’s commitment to investing in the local communities where it builds, more than £2 million has been given to support local projects across West Yorkshire in recent months by David Wilson Homes and the development of Applegarth Manor in Oulton, Leeds, has seen £380,000 contributed to primary and secondary education nearby.

Jan Dalgliesh Pook, Sales Adviser at Applegarth Manor, commented:

“The development at Applegarth Manor offers a variety of beautiful homes to suit different lifestyles and the opportunity to be part of a thriving, modern community whilst being close to great transport and commuter links. The launch of the new show home was a great success, and it was brilliant to welcome so many people to the development and show them what Applegarth Manor has to offer. We’ve already sold two properties at the development, so is already proving to be a very popular development in Leeds – and really does indicate that the housing marketing in West Yorkshire is on the up.”

Homes at the development will be built in a variation of brick and stone, offering an aesthetic to complement the historic surrounding area and the location benefits from fantastic commuter links via the M1, M62 and A1 providing easy access to nearby Leeds, Wakefield and York as well as Newcastle, Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Manchester and Sheffield.
