Bilfinger GVA finds owner for Ravenstone Manor Hotel
Bilfinger GVA Manchester has successfully secured the sale of Ravenstone Manor Hotel in Cumbria on behalf of administrators, Begbies Traynor.
The 18th Century manor, located on the eastern side of Bassenthwaite Lake, has been sold to Martin Oakley for £900,000.
Set in three hectares of grounds, the manor comprises 20 ensuite bedrooms, a restaurant, lounge, and bar and games room. The property also includes a separate owner’s accommodation and holiday let cottage.
Edward Dry, director at Bilfinger GVA Manchester, said: “We are pleased to have secured the sale of Ravenstone Manor Hotel. The property is a great opportunity and the new owner Mr Oakley is looking to invest further and develop the hotel’s offering. It is also ideally located in a beautiful position in one of the more unspoilt areas of the national park overlooking Bassenthwaite.”
