Manchester-based comparison firm teams up with global IT distributor
Manchester-based mobile contract comparison firm Compare52 has announced a new partnership with IT distributor Ingram Micro.
The deal has allowed Ingram Micro’s resellers to publish an airtime and mobile phone portal through which purchasers can acquire airtime packages and SIM-free handsets.
The CEO of Compare52, Ashley Bailey, said of the new partnership: “Working with Ingram Micro has added another value-added service to our business. For many years IT resellers have been looking for a service which is a ‘hassle free way of selling mobile airtime’ to [complement] their current IT services.
“Our airtime webstore enables the IT reseller to sell airtime, handsets, accessories and hardware as part of a white label solution where they get a commission from everything they sell off the webstore.”
Compare52 is based in Piccadilly Gardens and originally operated as CompareBusinessPhones.co.uk. Ingram Micro will take care of fulfilment, with products sent direct to the ordering customer.
Ashley continued: “The solution gives any reseller a fully automated way of selling airtime and hardware to their customers without any administration work.
“The web store we provide is a plug-and-play service and will be matched with the reseller’s logo and primary company colours, so it looks part of their current site.”
