VW Festival gets ready to roar into Harewood!
Two Hull business men are getting ready to host their annual VW Festival, taking place between 14-16 August at Harewood House, near Leeds.
Now in its eleventh year, the event is the brainchild of Shane Beardsley and Paul Scott, two entrepreneurs whose ‘good idea’ has now blossomed into an annual event, attracting around 20,000 visitors.
One of the biggest summertime attractions in the North, ticket holders will be entertained with live music, VW vehicle displays and Show and Shine - a bit like show and tell but for the big boys and girls! Or should that be Bug..boys and girls?
With trade stands, a charity raffle whose winner will drive away in a beautifully restored VW Beetle thanks to herbie Hospital in Leeds AND the chance to soak up a real festival atmosphere all in the magnificent settings of stately home, what’s not to love?
By buying a raffle ticket you will also be supporting this year’s fantastic charity, Cash4Kids. VW at Harewood House is not just for VW enthusiasts, but the whole family, including the dog where there will doggie displays, competitions and treats.
Come along and be blown away by a very shiny, brightly coloured all singing, all dancing weekend that is VW Weekend!
To book your ticket or find out more about staying over in the VW campsite, log onto https://www.vwfestival.co.uk/ before 10am on Monday, 10th August to benefit from a discount and free entry for under 16s.
