Czajka Scores With Sponsorship Of Global Rugby Tournament
Czajka Care Group has become one of the lead sponsors of the first ever Mixed Ability Rugby World Tournament which is being held in Bradford next week.
The Saltaire based company will have pitch side boards promoting its five care and nursing homes located in Nab Wood, Steeton and Cross Hills, at the tournament which takes place from the 17th to 21st August 2015.
More than 400 players, with and without disabilities, from 10 different countries are expected to play in the tournament at Bradford & Bingley Rugby Club. The tournament has the full support of the Rugby Football Union, which is supplying coaching staff, match officials, post protectors, balls and match trophies.
Mixed Ability Rugby Union has been championed across Yorkshire since the Bumble Bees RUFC was formed in 2009 and became England’s first mixed ability side. Czajka Care Group has a strong relationship with the club and last year became the team’s official kit sponsor.
Konrad Czajka, the company’s Managing Director, says: “Czajka Care Group’s whole ethos is about promoting inclusivity and this is synonymous with mixed ability rugby, which enables anyone to enjoy the sport, regardless of whether they have learning or physical disabilities so we’re delighted to be supporting this competition.
“The overall scale of the tournament is definitely very impressive and from what we’ve seen so far, it has every chance of becoming a regular event and it will be a great way for rugby fans to warm-up for this autumn’s 2015 Rugby World Cup.”
Czajka Care Group owns and operates Fairmount Nursing Home, Brookfield Care Home and Staveley Birk Leas Nursing Home, which are all in Nab Wood near Shipley, as well as Currergate Nursing Home in Steeton and Beanlands Nursing Home in Cross Hills. Czajka also provides purpose built retirement homes and operates The Clubhouse at Fairmount Park, which is a members only club with a wide range of leisure facilities.
