Preston firm organises Games Day for social media giant
A North West event management and equipment hire firm was chosen by social network Facebook recently to organise a Games Day for the staff at its UK HQ.
Sunshine Events, which is headquartered in Preston, put together a number of activities for the 500 members of staff based in the social giant’s London office.
Activities included Pole Jousts, a Giant Games Area, Bungee Runs and a Sumo Inflatable Ring.
Sunshine Events’ director of fun, Sunny Sandwell, commented: “When Facebook London came to us looking for energetic, lively entertainment for their Games Day we were more than happy to help, as after all, they don’t call us the Fun Day experts for no reason!”
Founded in 2004, Sunshine Events has worked with a number of big-brand companies, including multinational supermarket chain Tesco, e-commerce company eBay and the BBC.
The firm also recently provided a photo booth at ITV’s British Soap Awards.
