Scott Logic surpasses its half-year goals
As the Greek economy faces a precipice, local software development consultancy Scott Logic has prospered its way through the Eurozone debt crisis by focusing its 2015 activity on its local market â the UK.
The company, which delivers bespoke software solutions to global clients in complex sectors, including many in the Eurozone, is on track to make its 10th year in business the best yet after expanding into new premises to focus on attracting a number of UK-based clients.
Managing Director Gary Scott said: “Our strategy this year has been to really focus on our home market, especially given the weakness in the Euro and lack of confidence across Europe. We’ve also been able to leverage the opening of a new and rapidly expanding office in Soho, London.
“This has enabled us to further enhance our portfolio not only in financial services and capital markets, but also in new areas such as energy trading and wealth management. It’s important to some of our UK-based clients that we are able to resource their projects with talented people who operate from a UK base and fully understand their market.”
In addition to gaining contracts with British-based enterprises so far during 2015, Scott Logic has outgrown its Bristol office, moving to larger city centre premises less than three months after expanding into London.
As part of its ongoing expansion, Scott Logic has welcomed around 60 new staff members to its team in 2015 and continues to hire for a range of vacancies across its four locations.
Gary added: “It continues to be an exciting time for us with experienced and high calibre technology professionals continuing to join Scott Logic. The second half of the year is shaping up to be just as energetic.”
