Caddick Construction wins top health and safety award

Caddick Construction has won its third President’s Award at the 2015 RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards.

The 2015 Awards marked the 12th consecutive year that Caddick Construction achieved the RoSPA Gold standard for its health and safety management systems, an achievement which has earned the Knottingley-based construction company the prestigious President’s Award.

Andrew Murray, managing director at Caddick Construction, comments: “We aim to provide a safe working environment not only for our employees, but also for all the operatives and visitors on our sites, as well as the general public.

“The robust systems we have in place demonstrate our commitment to delivering high quality construction projects prioritising the safety of our workforce, visitors and public to avoid injuries or ill health and eliminate risk.

“We have every intention of maintaining our excellent record at the RoSPA Awards and to secure 15 Gold wins in a row, to be awarded the Order of Distinction in three years’ time.”

David Rawlins, RoSPA’s awards manager, says: “The RoSPA Awards are designed to encourage improvement in occupational health and safety management.

“Organisations that gain recognition for their health and safety management systems, such as Caddick Construction, contribute to raising standards overall and we congratulate them.”
