Cheshire hairstylists launch new salon with RBS backing
Two entrepreneurial hairstylists have launched a new unisex hair salon in Cheshire after securing funding from The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS).
Carl Belfield and Gio Belli opened Beba on Market Street in Disley with the undisclosed RBS funds and cash from the business partners, creating three jobs in the village.
Discussing his new enterprise, Gio Belli said: “Carl and I discussed the possibility of going into partnership with each other as we bring different strengths to the business. A lot of planning and investment has gone into Beba and we are excited about opening our professional and modern salon in the town of Disley.
“We are grateful to RBS for providing the help with start-up costs to allow our venture to come to fruition.”
In addition to the new jobs created, the business also plans to invest further in trainees.
Bev Berzins, a relationship manager with RBS, commented: “Carl and Gio boast a number of years in the hairdressing industry and with our funding this gives them the opportunity to make their own success.
“We wish them all the very best as they establish themselves in Disley.”
