Abiquo now available via Microsoft Azure Marketplace
Hybrid cloud software provider, Abiquo has announced support for Microsoft Azure, an open, flexible and enterprise-grade cloud computing platform – currently deployed by 57 percent of Fortune 500 companies. The Azure plug-in allows enterprise users to easily and securely add and manage the Azure public cloud environment with Abiquo’s on-premise and SAAS offerings, enabling enterprise users to manage their public cloud accounts.
Administrators benefit from full visibility and control of the infrastructure within the platform and can add multiple virtual data centres per account, which helps to organise Azure usage across the organisation, as well as improving flexibility and scalability.
With Abiquo’s offerings, enterprises reap the benefits of public cloud services, with the ability to gain control of new and innovative environments, while giving their users consistent access to the cloud services they demand.
“Microsoft Azure is an undisputed leader in the public cloud space and enterprise demand for it is growing exponentially. We’re delighted to be adding support for another ‘best of breed’ cloud offering to enable enterprises to leverage Azure alongside their other deployments seamlessly and securely without the need to redevelop or switch providers,” comments Ian Finlay, COO, Abiquo.
“Abiquo’s support for Microsoft Azure, along with its support for a broad range of other public cloud plug-ins, significantly opens up the public cloud portfolio we’re able to offer, providing customers with greater choice and control through a fully integrated, state of the art online management portal,” comments Lee Norvall, CTO, Fusion.
