Barnsley FC secures new Corner Stand sponsor with Brittania Drilling
Although Barnsley FC didn’t kick the new season off with a win, the South Yorkshire club are still happy to announce a new sponsorship deal with Brittania Drilling.
The Rotherham-based firm, specialising in diamond drilling services, has agreed to sponsor the League One club’s Corner Stand for the 2015/16 season, and as a result, Brittania Drilling will now be displayed at Oakwell Stadium.
Kevin Hardman, owner of Britannia Drilling said: “I am thrilled and very excited to have my company’s name displayed on the corner stand.
“We have sponsored the Club for many years, but the opportunity to become one of the stand sponsors was a fantastic opportunity to further enhance our association with the Club. The stand looks fantastic and we are all looking forward to a very exciting and positive season.”
Linton Brown, Barnsley FC Commercial Sales Manager, added: “We are delighted Kevin and Brittania Drilling have agreed a lucrative two year agreement to sponsor the corner stand. Kevin is very much part of the family here at Barnsley Football Club and has been for many years.
“His continued support through this stand sponsorship is absolutely fantastic and is further evidence of engaging and enhancing incumbent relationships with local companies while delivering returns on investment. I would also like to take this opportunity on behalf of Barnsley Football Club to thank Bill Shaw and local company Dimensions for their previous support and sponsorship over many years.”
