Green light for new homes
Persimmon Homes has received planning permission to start work on the next three phases of housing at Haywood Village.
The leading housebuilder will build 181 homes at Hawthorn Rise, Rowan Fields and a further 70 properties at The Coppice built under the company’s sister-brand Charles Church.
When launched, a selection of two-bedroom apartments and two, three, four and five-bedroom homes will be available, which will appeal to a wide cross-section of buyers including first-time buyers, growing families and those looking to downsize.
“The homes at Haywood Village have been a hit with buyers since the day we launched,” said Nicola Reed, sales and marketing director for Persimmon Homes Severn Valley. “This is down to the combination of its location, the wide variety of properties available and incentives such as the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme.”
“Haywood Village is turning into a vibrant new community as we bring much-needed homes and employment opportunities to the area,” continued Nicola. “The development is unlike anything we’ve built in Weston-super-Mare before and from the very start we felt it would be something special. It is of no surprise that these homes are selling quickly and we expect the same level of demand at these new phases. We would therefore encourage people to come and see us before it’s too late.”
Haywood Village boasts views of the Mendip Hills and is within reach of the main town, yet will still have easy access to the motorway and excellent rail connections from Weston-super-Mare station.
