Security software firm Avecto secures space at Manchester Airport Trident development
Global security software company Avecto has signed up for space at Property Alliance Group’s (PAG) Trident Business Park next to Manchester Airport.
The deal, a 10-year lease for 29,000 sq ft of space at the development, means the site is now 90% pre-let.
According to a report from Property Week, PAG’s asset manager, Rob Peill, said: “Trident continues to thrive, and we are delighted to have secured such a rapid succession of pre-let deals since acquisition.
“Our experience in maximising the value of an asset and approaching it with the right formula is proven here. We take great pride in creating the best environment for our occupiers and in the design and finish of our developments.”
He continued: “Our business plan to undertake the significant work on a speculative basis shows our confidence in both the Manchester office market and our ability to provide a high quality package.”
After PAG bought the scheme in January, North West contractor Russells Construction began refurbishing the office space at the site. The £7m project, which includes a new glass reception area comprising 5,000 sq ft of space, is expected to be complete early next year.
