New app launched to attract investors to Liverpool
Invest Liverpool, which is part of Liverpool Vision, has launched a new free digital app to show investors what the city can offer businesses in the financial and professional services.
The app, created by Focus Innovation, has information about the city’s talent pool, property, connectivity and research available to companies setting up in the city, as well as the assistance provided by Invest Liverpool.
Aimed at people outside the city, the app will be used for presentations, trade shows, and at events such as MIPIM and IFB 2016.
Ellen Cutler, Director of Investment said: “The app gives us the ability to communicate our message in a succinct and interesting style with dynamic data, keeping up with new technologies of knowledge sharing, and enhancing our marketing tool kit.
“Because the app is free and the reach is global, this gives us the opportunity to engage with potential new investors anywhere in the world and provide them with real time information.
“Unlike traditional forms of media not only does the app allow us to build new relationships; but it also allows us to harvest valuable feedback and develop our service offer more intelligently.”
The app is free to download from the App Store and is available for iPads and other Apple devices now.
The developers say that it provides FDI professionals with a means of articulating the strengths of their region’s key sectors through the presentation of real time dynamic statistics and narrative content.
The work centres on data aggregation and visualisation and traditional content’s use within new technologies, and is designed to help visualise opportunities within market sectors and regions.
