New HQ for property specialist

Property management and maintenance specialist, DW Support Services, is on the move to a new headquarters.

The relocation to premises in Thame, Oxfordshire, is part of a £1.5m investment programme which follows a change in ownership which, last year, saw the business become part of the Fastflow Group.

The operation – which has offices in Oxford, Reading and London - looks after 165,000 homes and five million square feet of office space throughout the south east of England. It recently secured over £6 million worth of new contracts with Aylesbury Vale, Family Mosaic, Hastoe and Thrive Homes.

The new premises at Lupton Road, Thame, Oxfordshire currently comprises three separate buildings of varying ages, which have been interlinked to provide 12,000 sq. ft. of warehouse accommodation.

Over the coming months it will undergo substantial remodelling and refurbishment to provide new high specification office space and ancillary facilities. Plans for the upgrade are being prepared by architects WSP.

In parallel there will be a major investment in the financial systems of the company, through a contract with Redsky, to use its Summit Software for financial and procurement processes.

DW Support Services delivers around 27,000 responsive repairs as well as planned maintenance services to both public and private property sectors. Clients include housing associations, councils, government agencies, management companies, schools, universities and NHS trusts. It provides work for just over 300 people.

Said owner of the Fastflow Group, Neil Armstrong: “We acquired this business because of its reputation and the skills of the team. We could see the potential for growth and pledged to invest to realise that.

“We are now implementing expansion plans which, in an improving economic climate will, we believe, allow our experience and expertise in the sector to help us secure more contracts and increase the workforce further. To support this we will create a purposely designed headquarters.”

Last year DW Support Services became a member of the Fastflow Group, adding property expertise to experience in water and gas utility infrastructure services provided to Northumbrian Water Group, Anglian Water, National Grid and Northern Gas Network.

The group provides work for over 600 people and turnover this year is expected to

exceed £60 million.
