TIBCO’s “best in class” for Asynchronous Messaging

TIBCO Software Inc., a global leader in infrastructure and business intelligence software, today announced the TIBCO integration platform has been named a “Leader” in the Asynchronous Messaging and Service Orchestration Use Cases among the top Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) vendors and best-in-class for Message Distribution and Application Adapters in Info-Tech Research Group’s 2015 ESB Vendor Landscape report.

Eleven integration vendors were evaluated based on features, products, and vendor considerations, with TIBCO being only one of two recognised as “Exemplary” from both a product and vendor perspective. TIBCO’s integration platform was evaluated, comprising TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks™, as well as TIBCO FTL® messaging middleware and TIBCO Cloud Bus™.

According to Info-Tech Research Group, “integration connections and messaging between different applications become more brittle and complicated as environments change and grow. Integration middleware, namely Enterprise Service Buses, provide a means to streamline application integration by serving as a central connection point. With the increasing focus on SOA, and the growing connectivity and messaging requirements expressed by the business, IT departments require an integration solution that is scalable and highly flexible.”

The report positions TIBCO as a “Leader” in Asynchronous Messaging, indicating “the pairing of TIBCO FTL with TIBCO’s integration platform, BusinessWorks, or the choice to deploy Cloud Bus, provides strong messaging and connectivity capabilities for any deployment model.”

“Supporting web, mobile and IoT projects require a new class of applications built leveraging REST APIs and a microservices architecture.
