Towerhouse Systems developing new Stockport housing
A new Towerhouse Systems Ltd housing development is underway in Stockport supported by funding from NatWest.
The Harveys development, off Wellington Road North, consists of eight detached houses and a pair of semi-detached dwellings. Each property has a spacious bespoke family kitchen and also offers luxury ensuites and family bathrooms.
The development is named after entrepreneur and former resident of the adjoining property’s Victorian mansion Joseph (Joe) Harvey, MBE.
Joe Harvey started an engineering patternmaking business in the kitchen of a tenement in Heaton Norris, which he built into an international company, training craftsmen and apprentices from all over the world. He was awarded an MBE in 1991 for innovation and contributions to industry at his Denton plant JJ Harvey Tools.
Nick Maskrey, founder and director of Towerhouse Systems, has been in the property industry for more than 15 years, gaining experience with refurbishments, conversions, extensions and new builds.
He said: “The Harveys comprises of luxury family homes in a highly-sought-after area. It is located on the grounds of a former Victoria mansion so we have kept that connection alive by fusing together 19th century architecture with contemporary design.”
Towerhouse Systems has been a NatWest customer since 2011. NatWest Real Estate Finance relationship manager Peter Howarth supported the developer with funding to assist with the building of four of the homes.
Nick added: “Peter was good to work with and provided the funding package we needed to move forward with the development.”
Peter Howarth said: “I was delighted to support Towerhouse Systems on its latest housing development. The business has a strong understanding of the local property market and I wish the business every success for the future.”
