Cheshire Company ReAgent Invests in New Mixing Tank
Cheshire-based chemical manufacturing company ReAgent has invested in a new mixer tank that will increase production capacity for the needs of its ever-growing client base.
As one of the largest UK providers of raw chemical materials and with over 30 years of experience in mixing, blending and packaging custom-made products, ReAgent will be able to boost its output by an extra 1400 tonnes per year. This will allow the company to fulfil even larger orders without compromising on turnaround, thus improving efficiency and costs for customers..
Richard Hudson, managing director of ReAgent, said: “With the new mixer tank we’ve been able to improve the efficiency in which our product is produced. The tank features a control panel with pre-set configurations that can determine the dosage and quantity of the product batch. Not only does this decrease the margin for human error, but is also sure to be a safer process.”
Located in the North West, ReAgent is a family-run business that has spanned over three generations. Over the last five years it has undergone substantial growth, working to attain its strong green credentials, ISO accreditations and now working towards BS OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management.
Due to the rapid expansion of ReAgent’s customer base as well as higher demand for larger batches, the new tank is essential now more than ever and will compliment a bespoke mixer tank that was purchased earlier this year.
With the new equipment, ReAgent is in an ideal position to continue expanding its capabilities on the factory floor, as well as improving efficiency and production costs for all its clients.
