PL2 shortlisted for national development award

Barratt Homes’ popular PL2 development in Plymouth has been nominated for a top national award.

The development has been shortlisted in the Regeneration Scheme of the Year category of the first Inside Housing’s Top 60 Development Awards.

PL2 in Plymouth is part of the North Prospect regeneration scheme and offers a range of one, two, three and four bedroom homes just two miles from the city centre.

With easy access to all local amenities - including a purpose-built primary school next door - the development is proving particularly sought-after among families wishing to settle in the area.

“This is an excellent example of partners working together to transform an area and make it an attractive and hugely popular place in which to live,” said Barratt construction director Tim Davies.

“The successful collaboration here at North Prospect is testament to the incredible efforts of all those involved - in planning, design and construction.

“The transformation of this area is evident and fantastic for all to see. And our team is proud to have played a key role in creating this brand new community which includes a dedicated community hub and purpose built library.”

Winners of the Inside Housing Top 60 Awards will be announced at a ceremony in London on Friday 16 October.
