Happy Jays Harrogate receive royal souvenirs of royal babies
Children from Setting Sail Nursery, Harrogate part of Happy Jays group of nurseries, have received personalised postcards of Prince William, Princess Kate and the two royal babies.
Following Princess Charlotte’s arrival, the children drew pictures of the royals to mark the occasion and sent them to Buckingham Palace. A few weeks later, to everyone’s delight each child received a special memento to acknowledge their drawings.
Nic Njie, nursery manager, said: “We loved discussing the topic of the new baby princess so much that we decided to draw pictures of the family. We were so delighted when Buckingham Palace decided to acknowledge their hard work – all the children have taken the postcards home to share with their families.”
Based in Killinghall, Setting Sail Nursery is part of Happy Jays group of private nurseries across Yorkshire.
