Raw Creative appointed to launch Turtle Bay York
Turtle Bay, the Caribbean restaurant concept by former Las Iguanas director Ajith Jayawickrema, has appointed Raw Creative, based in Harrogate, to handle PR activity for its latest venue opening. The soon to be opened York restaurant will be Turtle Bay’s first step into Yorkshire. Raw Creative has been charged with raising awareness of Turtle Bay among young professionals and influencers in the city.
The restaurant will officially open on September 10th, with a VIP party which will see hundreds of VIPs and party-goers flock to the venue on Little Stonegate to experience live music from renowned reggae artists Laid Blak and Troy Ellis, washed down with rum and jerk.
Raw Creative’s Head of PR and Social Media, Sam Addie will oversee the account, with newly-appointed Social Media Manager, Emma-Louise Trotter handling the social media event activity.
Sam Addie commented on the appointment: “We’re thrilled to have been chosen to represent this fantastic brand. It’s a fun account to be working on and we are confident in delivering a fantastic event that will be sure kick start a long-standing relationship between the York community and a slice of spicy island life.”
