Czech Airlines announces new 2016 service from Liverpool John Lennon Airport
Czech Airlines has announced an extension of its flights from Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA), with an additional summer service planned for 2016.
The company, which is a member of the global SkyTeam Alliance and the official airline of the Czech Republic, revealed that it will continue with its current service by providing a twice weekly schedule from Liverpool to Prague next year.
July 2015 saw Czech Airlines offer flights to Prague from LJLA for the first time, with the service due to run until October.
In 2016, flights will start from March 28 and run until October 26.
Czech Airlines, which operates a fleet of more than a dozen aircraft, has altered the timings of the flights for the new season. Now, Mondays and Fridays will see an 18:00 departure from Liverpool and return flights at 16:00 from Prague.
The company believes the revamped schedule will appeal to business and leisure passengers, and encourage travellers to spend a working week or weekend in Prague.
