Hull MD up for top national IT award!

Hull and East Yorkshire-based Systech IT Solutions is celebrating after hearing its Managing Director is in line for a top national award.

The annual UK IT Industry Awards, organized by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT and Computing, are one of the longest established and most prestigious awards of its kind and are a platform for the entire profession to celebrate best practice, innovation and excellence.

The news comes after a great year of recognition for the team at Systech IT Solutions, who recently became a Dell Preferred Partner, making it one of only a handful in the whole of the UK. And in the last couple of months, Managing Director Ryan Mangan was awarded Salesperson of the Year by global technology giant, Kemp Technologies. Now, at the UK IT Industry Awards, he has made it as a finalist in the Young IT Professional of the Year category.

“I am humbled to become a finalist in what is considered the most important awards for the IT industry.” Ryan says. “I set up Systech IT Solutions because technology is what I love and know best, but I know I couldn’t have achieved half of what I have without the brilliant team around me here who work tirelessly to ensure our clients get first class IT results at all times.”

Although a relatively newly established company in the area, its team has many years of experience with a variety of technologies, capable of providing specialist IT consultancy and support services to clients throughout the UK. He will be up against other finalists from the likes of Barclays, BT, O2 and the Lloyds Banking Group.

Paul Fletcher, Group CEO, BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, says:

“As the Chartered Institute for IT I’d like to congratulate this year’s finalists. They showcase not only the innovation and the professionalism of those working in IT, but also demonstrate the importance of IT in delivering economic and societal benefit.”

Meanwhile Stuart Sumner, Editor of Computing, says:

“I would like to congratulate the finalists. The UK IT Industry Awards are rigorously judged by a panel of peers and experts, and to be announced as a finalist really is a great achievement.”

Winners will be announced at a Gala Awards dinner on 18th November at the Battersea Park Events Arena in London, bringing together the industry’s leading players for the biggest night of the year!
