Cheshire relocation specialist targets North West expansion

Two Cheshire-based design specialists have launched a new relocation business in the North West, with further plans in place to expand across the region.

Headed by entrepreneurial duo Stephanie Goldstone and Jenny Forshaw, Altrincham-headquartered Move Angels will aim to revolutionise the house-moving process for people in the region.

The company is now managing almost a dozen decluttering, home staging and relocation projects across Cheshire, with five new clients lined for this month and more than 15 enquiries for projects between now and the end of 2015.

Later this month, Move Angels plans to introduce its services for private clients and companies in Liverpool, Manchester and Lancashire.

Commenting on the company’s launch, Stephanie said: “We have both moved house numerous times and also managed home relocations for clients, and like most people, faced the struggles of managing all the different elements that go with it. The difference for us was that we loved the challenge!

“Moving house can be one of the most stressful experiences in a person’s life, so we plan to take the headache out of it and turn it around to what it should be – an exciting time, where you can look forward to setting-up a new home.”

The firm’s services also include supplier management for those moving home, with the Stephanie and Jenny working with utility companies, architects and builders.

Jenny commented: “[We have] been inundated with enquiries – proving that the demand is there for a business that helps people relocate without the emotional issues and time consuming jobs that go with it.

“We are developing plans to work with London and Home Counties companies that are relocating to the North West, and need our help to move their teams up here, and so the time just feels right to expand the service right across the region and offer a more comprehensive service across the North West.”

She added: “We know the housing market inside out, have an eye for styling interiors, are planning crazy and are both obsessive about attention to detail. It’s a great combination for running a relocation company!”

Together, the pair have combined experience of more than 40 years’ work in the interior styling, retailing, design and project management industries.
