Datrix Awarded Six Lots on New Government Frameworks

Leading Network, Communications & Managed Services Provider Awarded Six Lots on each of the New Government Frameworks

Datrix, established UK provider of Critical Network Services and Enterprise Cloud Solutions, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded multiple Lots on two major strategic Government Framework agreements - Network Services (RM1045) and Technology Services (RM1058), from the Crown Commercial Service.

The new Framework agreements are designed to significantly reduce costs and deployment timescales for public sector organisations such as Central Government agencies, local authorities and NHS Trusts, and will play a major role in helping the public sector realise the Government’s “Digital by Default” agenda.

Mahmood Chaudhri, Managing Director, Datrix, said: “We are delighted that Datrix is continuing its strong heritage of delivering innovative, secure services to the public sector through each of these new Framework agreements. These are important agreements that will provide access to affordable, flexible and efficient services that will ultimately reduce costs to the taxpayer. As one of just 61 organisations that successfully passed the comprehensive tendering process, the award positions Datrix amongst an elite group of suppliers that are well-placed to become a significant part of next generation IT services, and will help ensure that agencies can take strides towards becoming truly Digital by Default over the coming years.”

The Network Services agreement, RM1045, replaces three existing arrangements: RM860 PSN Connectivity, RMM1498 PSN Services and RM1035 Telephony Services; and provides a path for customers to migrate services from a number of legacy in-scope arrangements.

Datrix has been awarded accreditation across six of the ten available Lots: Lot 1 – Data Access Services, Lot 2 – Local Connectivity Services, Lot 3 – Traditional Telephony Services, Lot 4 - Inbound Telephony Services, Lot 5 - IP Telephony Services; and Lot 10 – Integrated Communications.

The Technology Services Framework agreement, RM1058, has been developed in collaboration with the Government Digital Service (GDS) to enable Central Government, Local Authorities and NHS Trusts to realise the “Digital by Default” agenda. By providing public sector organisations access to a range of managed services from pre-approved suppliers, removing the need for a full official Journal of European Union (OJEU) procurement, the agreement intends to significantly reduce timescales and costs for the provision of IT services.

Datrix will offer services across six of the 11 available Lots including: Lot 3 – Network Management, Lot 4 – Network and Content Security, Lot 5 – Infrastructure & Platform Maintenance and Support, Lot 7 – IT Infrastructure Transition Services and Delivery, Lot 9 – Disaster recovery and Business Continuity; and Lot 10 – Backup and Data Services.

The announcements complete a trilogy of strategic Government agreement awards for Datrix, following a successful application to the G-Cloud framework for the third successive iteration earlier in the year.
