Pragma and FSP join forces under St Ives group banner to add value to retail consultancy services
Pragma Consulting and Fripp Sandeman and Partners (FSP), the retail and consumer consultancies owned by international marketing services group St Ives, have unveiled plans to work together to offer a more extensive range of services for clients. FSP, the retail property specialist, was acquired by St Ives in August. It operates as a subsidiary of St Ives but will work closely with Pragma, which focuses on retail and consumer markets as well as airports and commercial spaces.
FSP’s skills will offer Pragma an opportunity to enhance the service proposition for its Airports, Travel and Commercial Spaces Division. FSP’s insight into the retail property industry will also provide additional value and services for clients of Pragma’s Strategy and Investor Services divisions, in areas ranging from location planning to investment feasibility studies. Pragma’s strong international experience will support FSP’s continued expansion into Europe and beyond.
As part of St Ives’ Strategic Marketing segment, Pragma and FSP will retain separate identities, business units and working premises, while integrating components of working practices, operations, product offer and service propositions, in order to provide clients with the best possible solutions.
FSP will continue to be managed and operated from its current location in High Wycombe, Bucks, by its existing leadership team: Jo Hewson, Ken Gunn, John Fell, Andrew McVicker and Heidi Roberts. The team will work closely with Alex Avery, Managing Director of Pragma’s Airports, Travel and Commercial Spaces Division, and Nick Zinzan, Managing Director – Operations at Pragma.
This presents a very exciting development and opportunity for both Pragma and FSP to build upon their existing market-leading positions and continue to grow and evolve the high-quality service proposition offered to clients.
Jo Hewson, Managing Director of FSP, said: “From our perspective, Pragma provides an opportunity to strengthen our existing proposition across retail and consumer markets, as well as the opportunity to further develop and grow into new markets and geographies, such as Europe and the Middle East.”
Tom Holt, Chief Executive of Pragma Consulting, added: “We are extremely excited with the FSP acquisition and look forward to working closely with the team. FSP provides a highly complementary dimension to our current Airports, Travel and Commercial Spaces Division, as well as an extension to the consultancy services we can provide for our retail and investor services clients.”
