First tenants in at Stockton tech hub Fusion Hive
Fusion Hive, the new Stockton-based technology hub, has welcomed a host of companies as its first business tenants.
Located on Stockton’s Northshore and operated by Teesside University, businesses to take up residency include Integrity Search, Smart Driving and Skignz.
Fusion Hive’s workspace provides an ideal environment for business collaboration. Office spaces of varying size, a seminar room and ample meeting and training facilities, all designed to a high specification, mean that companies can get the professional accommodation they need in an outstanding business setting.
More than just office space, the hub acts as a technology business hub, bringing companies together to network, share knowledge and make the most of opportunities for growth.
Ross Coulman, Managing Director of IAMTech, one of Fusion Hive’s first tenants, said: “I am sincerely grateful to Teesside University for their support in enabling my business to move to Fusion Hive in only a matter of weeks after first registering an interest.
“We have been fortunate enough to move to some of the best offices I have ever been in - the building is amazing and our productivity has increased already.”
Claire Richardson, Director of Space Design Associates, another early tenant, added: “Our fantastic new office at the newly built, state-of-the-art, Fusion Hive will help us grow the business even further, as well as having the added bonus of the stunning views across the River Tees.
“One of the main reasons for the move is to be in a location that facilitates growth and our former office was simply not big enough to accommodate our vision. It’s also great to be surrounded by like-minded businesses and being based at the Hive gives us direct access to potential sources of business – so we thought why would we not move?”
Laura Woods, Director of The Forge, Teesside University’s new business hub, said: “It’s exciting to see these ambitious, high-achieving companies moving into Fusion Hive, and we’re really looking forward to working with them to help them grow. There is huge potential for businesses based in this fantastic new technology hub”.
Fusion Hive is currently operating an ‘Early Bird’ offer giving tenants two months rent free. The promotion ends in October, so interested businesses need to apply soon.
