Liverpool trading estate now fully let with new Arco store
A trading estate near Liverpool city centre is now fully let after safety equipment supplier Arco established its sixth North West branch.
The firm has opened a 5,884 sq ft store, its 46th outlet in the UK, on Erskine Industrial Estate after signing a 10-year lease with the site’s manager and owner, London & Cambridge Properties (LCP).
Arco’s head of retail, Paul Frewin, commented: “The opening of our new Liverpool Store has extended Arco’s national network to 46 UK stores, which has helped us in our goal of making safety products and advice even more accessible to local [businesses] and tradesmen.”
Arco, which sells safety gear such as workwear and hard hats, joins traders such as tool retailer Toolstation, electrical and plumbing supply firm Screwfix and Sally Hair & Beauty on the estate.
LCP’s industrial portfolio manager, Andrew Preston, said: “The fact that Erskine Industrial Estate, which comprises 16 units across 77,000 sq ft, is now fully let is great news for the area.
“It’s a thriving trade area and is ideally located, being close to the city centre.”
