TLC Moves Into Spotlight with Concert Business Launch
The award-winning Manchester based event management company, the Taylor Lynn Corporation (TLC), is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year by launching a brand new sister business, TLC Concerts. The new company will focus on staging headline-act concerts at the Macron Stadium, Bolton and will be working with the venue’s Bolton Whites Hotel to bring top flight entertainment to the town.
‘I am thrilled to be venturing into new pastures’ says TLC managing director Liz Taylor
‘I have been developing a range of new initiatives with the team at Bolton Whites Hotel and the staging of amazing concerts at the stadium, which the hotel is integrated into, seemed a natural and exciting progression. TLC has the business structure and contacts to make this happen, I have 30 years of experience under my belt and the team at the Hotel is raring to go!’
‘Bolton is home to some incredible acting, comedic and musical talent, so the concerts will need to offer the very best artists around to keep up the town’s tradition for quality entertainment. We are in discussions with a truly amazing international artist to kick start the concerts, so watch this space!’ adds Liz Taylor.
Carl D’Arcy, national business development manager at Bolton Whites Hotel added: ‘The hotel and stadium have a strong history of hosting concerts of top pedigree having seen the likes of Coldplay, Oasis and Elton John take to the stage here. The move back into the music scene is an exciting time for us and we feel confident that running these in conjunction with Liz, and her unrivalled little black book of contacts, will certainly see Bolton compete with the city centre based concerts from across the UK.’
TLC Concerts is looking to launch their first event with the hotel in the autumn of 2015. Visit www.tlc-ltd.co.uk for details as they are announced.
