Freshers’ Week at The Printworks

Freshers’ Week means party week and The Printworks has a whole host of events, offers and discounts running across its 16 venues from 20th September, to give students a warm Mancunian welcome to the city.

Tiger Tiger

Head to The Big Freshers’ Icebreaker on Sunday 20th where guest DJ, James Levey will be on decks with ice cannons, an incredible break dance troupe, icebreaker angels and a UV pit.

F*ck Me It’s Freshers on Wednesday 23rd sees Live DJ’s & glowsticks, gallons of neon face paints, giant Jenga and CO2 smoke cannons.

If you’re a fan of fancy dress then Tiger Tiger’s Freshers’ Zoo on Thursday 24th is the one for you, with animal costumes a must. Professional animal face and body painters, animal dancers and animal inflatables promise to make this a night to remember.

Norwegian Blue

Bierkeller Entertainment Complex

Head to The Bierkeller, for the weekly Wednesday student night, Kellerbomb. For drinks from £1.50, Beer Pong and DJ JosheeBee, from 8pm till late every week.

On Sunday 20th it’s the last night of Salford freshers’, so why not fly to The Bierkeller for a Superhero night out with giveaways and deals galore.

Hard Rock Cafe Manchester is currently celebrating its 15th birthday with 15 nights of free live music until the 25th September. Acts include Eskimos on Sunday 20th and Shakermaker on Tuesday 22nd, with celebrations ending on a high with the free Future Classics Live event on Friday 25th. Starting at 10pm, music fans can look forward to classic rock station, Real Radio XS taking over Hard Rock’s Rock Stage and putting on two up-and-coming bands.
