Increase visibility of your support for breast cancer
Uniform specialist Simon Jersey is urging UK workers to wear it pink this autumn by launching a new brightly coloured hi-vis waistcoat to raise funds for Breast Cancer Now.
The company hopes that those who usually wear hi-vis clothing to work, including builders, factory teams, drivers and roadworkers, will swap their usual hi-vis wear during October to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The waistcoats can also be ordered and worn by anyone hosting or taking part in a fundraising event throughout the month from fun runs to dressing up days at work or for Wear it Pink Day on 23rd October.
Simon Jersey is selling the pink hi-vis waistcoats priced at £5.99 (inc. VAT) via its website and all of the proceeds will be donated to the Breast Cancer Now charity. Created after Breakthrough Breast Cancer and Breast Cancer Campaign joined forces, the charity supports ground-breaking research into the disease at centres across the UK.
Kerrie Medlicott, marketing director for Simon Jersey, said: “We’re making it really easy for people to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month this year. You certainly won’t be missed in one of our pink hi-vis waistcoats.
“If you already work somewhere that you need to wear hi-vis at work it’s easy to swap to pink for the month, and they’re great as part of a brightly coloured outfit to wear for fundraising events too.
“Breast cancer continues to affect many families in the UK so we’re keen to raise as much money as we can to fund research into beating the disease.”
