Tpoll introduces new MD Laura Lake as it rebrands as MindMover

Tpoll, the market research agency, is to rebrand as MindMover as part of ambitious growth plans set out by founder and CEO Mark Ursell and new managing director Laura Lake.

The new branding, which launches today, has been adopted from Tpoll’s established and well-regarded online community, MindMover.

Lake has been working on the rebrand since joining MindMover in January 2015. She was previously head of market intelligence for Consumer Intelligence, has run her own research consultancy specialising in evaluating economic and business regeneration programmes around the world. Lake’s academic background also includes a long-standing post as a visiting lecturer and honorary research fellow in post-graduate economics and research methods at Plymouth University.

MindMover will focus on helping brands to understand their audiences better in order to create products and services that consumers really want. By using its expertise in understanding consumer demand, products and services development, and communication, it will help clients build positive brand relationships.

Mark Ursell, founder and CEO, MindMover, said: “The rebrand is part of a wider response to clients’ increasing needs to develop brands across multiple channels that build positive relationships with consumers in a world of constant and rapid change. MindMover sets out an engaging proposition that enables us to build for the future.”

Laura Lake, managing director, MindMover, said: “It has been a fantastic time to join the company and be able to create an exciting and vibrant vision that is centred on understanding people’s daily lives and working with great brands to bring that world to them. The work we do with our clients is real and tangible and there is nothing better than seeing our client’s brands succeed in the market place.”

Tpoll was set up in 1999. It has established a reputation as a leader in online customer panels and market research. It combines the latest research techniques with bespoke IT systems that are customised for clients such as MTV, Channel 4, Condor Ferries, Dyson and Tulip.
