Award-winning project manager oversees Croydon development
David Wilson Homes has appointed one of the country’s leading project managers to oversee the creation of its new development in Coulsdon.
Winner of the prestigious NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Awards, Mark Fairman, is managing the creation of stylish new three, four and five bedroom homes at Cane Hill Park.
Mark is among an elite number of the nation’s construction professionals having won one of the industry’s most coveted awards for two years running.
The standard-setting body - National House Building Council (NHBC) - carries out a series of spot check site inspections to select the best organised and best-quality housing developments, decorating them with Pride in the Job Quality Awards.
Almost 15,000 managers throughout the UK are judged on every aspect of their job, including technical skill, quality workmanship, customer service and site safety.
“This is independent recognition, highlighting the impressive work our award-winning managers are doing,” said David Wilson Homes managing director, Mark Bailey.
“I’m delighted because these awards recognise that our homes are constructed to the highest possible quality. And buyers will be able to move into this impressive new development knowing that their homes are among the nation’s best.”
Construction work has now started at Cane Hill Park – on the site of the former Cane Hill Hospital in Coulsdon with the first homes due for launch in the new year.
In addition to new homes the development will see the refurbishment of two historic buildings – the former Chapel and Water Tower.
Coulsdon forms part of the North Downs and lies mainly within the London Borough of Croydon and is just 30 minutes from central London.
