Eminent Doctor Launches Ground-breaking Hair Growth Therapy

A pioneering North West-based doctor and owner of Natura Anti-Ageing Clinic, Dr Carlos Xavier has introduced a new cutting-edge treatment which boosts hair growth in order to help both men and women maintain a head of thick hair.

With over 25 year’s experience, Dr Xavier will be one of the first medical professionals in the country to introduce the treatment at the Northern Quarter-based clinic.

Situated on Thomas Street, the clinic will now offer patients the Platelet Rich Plasma therapy, a highly effective treatment that is proven to combat hair loss by improving the thickness and coverage of hair where signs of thinning are showing up.

Known to have a stimulating effect on the growth processes of our cells, the treatment involves injecting an important combination of components from the patient’s own blood into their scalp under local anaesthesia that will encourage hair growth.

A non-surgical procedure that offers long-lasting effects, the process takes little time and patients can go home immediately afterwards. Once the area has healed, patients can also use topical creams provided by the Natura team, containing effective hormones and antioxidants to further stimulate the hair follicles.

Dr Xavier said: “We are incredibly excited to be bringing this highly innovative treatment to the North West. Thinning hair is, unfortunately, a large part of the natural ageing process and here at Natura we know how devastating the psychological effects of this can be on a person.

“As a clinic that specialises in anti-ageing, my team and I look forward to the opportunity to offer this exceptional procedure and continue to help our patients achieve a level of confidence they have always wanted, even later on in their life.”

Due to the stresses of modern day life, men and women can lose anything from 50 to 100 hairs a day whether it’s in the shower, drying your hair or even giving it a seemingly harmless brush.

With 80% of European men likely to become bald by the age of 70 and a quarter of women facing hair loss problems as they get older, it can feel as though we are fighting a losing battle with thinning locks, bald spots and receding hair lines.

According to medical research, improvements can be seen after only four weeks and six months following the treatment, the full effect becomes visible. Although outcomes can vary from case to case as each individual reacts differently to medical therapies, the procedure is already proving to be a huge success in fighting the signs hair loss nationwide.

Based in the North West, Natura Anti-Ageing Clinic operates from a state-of-the-art Manchester clinic on Thomas Street in the Northern Quarter and has a second base at their highly respected clinic in Warrington.
