Property services firm Roger Hannah & Co acquires its Manchester office

Property services provider Roger Hannah & Co has acquired the long leasehold interest of its Manchester office for £1.25m with the help of NatWest.

The acquisition of the offices, at Century Buildings in the Parsonage Gardens area of the city, came after Roger Hannah & Co took advantage of an option agreement with the site’s landlord, Property Alliance.

With the support of the NatWest funding, the property services firm acquired 9,500 sq ft of space with a net initial yield of 9.04%.

Roger Hannah & Co’s director, Simon Crook, said of the transaction: “The acquisition is part of our commitment to increasingly make the business a force on the Manchester property scene and should enable us to further expand our Manchester operations.

“As owner occupiers we received fantastic support from NatWest who showed a real appetite to lend in an increasingly improving market and from our solicitors Myersons.”

Established in 1979, Roger Hannah & Co has been involved in a number of large projects across the UK in recent years, including work with the London Olympics, the Commonwealth Games Stadium and regeneration schemes in Manchester city centre.

Aldo Palazzo, a commercial manager with NatWest, commented: “We are delighted to support Roger Hannah & Co.

“The acquisition is a testament to the firm’s commitment to the region and we wish the business every success for the future.”
