Wetherby tech firm targets growth with global company partnership
A West yorkshire-based technology company has been appointed as a key strategic partner of a global data protection organisation, which will allow the business to continue to rapidly grow in the region.
Oriium, which is headquartered in Wetherby, provides data management and infrastructure consultancy including managed services and hosted services (Cloud Dynamix) to organisations around the world.
For the last two years, the ‘Channel Only’* company has been ranked as one of Deloitte UK’s top 50 fast-growing technology businesses and is seeking a hat-trick at the 2015 awards later this year.
Arcserve is a world leader in data protection technology solutions for cloud, virtual and physical environments, used by over 45,000 end users in more than 150 countries worldwide.
Oriium’s teams recently underwent in-depth technical training delivered by Arcserve at Oriium’s northern HQ. This new, strategic alliance will allow Oriium to bring market leading data management experience to Arcserve customers in the form of pre-sales, deployment services, support and managed services.
Established in 2007 by Chris Kiaie, Oriium now employs a team of 35 and relocated to larger premises in Wetherby at the end of last year. This year the company plans to increase its team and revenues by over 30%.
Chris Kiaie said: “This is an incredibly important milestone for Oriium maintaining our market reputation as data management experts and leaders as 2015 continues to see our business grow. Today, Arcserve is a leading provider of next-generation data protection solutions with an innovative new product suite. This relationship represents a significant opportunity for partners and customers alike.”
Giovanni Goduti, Northern European sales director at Arcserve, added: “The strategic alliance between Oriium and Arcserve will enable, accelerate and support our rapidly growing UK market. Both organisations have a shared focus for quality of service, customer satisfaction and innovation. By combining our market leading technologies with Oriium’s expertise, we will be able to reach more partners, more customers and deliver an excellent customer experience.”
