Bradford Brewery is now bottling it's cask ales.

Bradford Brewery secures nationwide orders with new bottle operation

Bradford Brewery has embarked on the next phase of its business, with the introduction of bottled beers.

Cask ales brewed in Bradford City Centre will now be distributed to shops and restaurants nationwide, thus allowing customers to purchase Bradford Beers for their own leisure.

This new operation has been launched with the production of approximately 1,500 500ml bottles of Hockey Pale Ale.

Named in honour of acclaimed Bradford artist David Hockney, the beer is a 3.6% session beer made from Pacific Jade and Admiral hops, and one of the brewery’s best-selling cask beers.

The brewery has already secured orders from a wide range of local outlets, including venues such as Bradford’s National Media Museum.

The brewery, off Westgate, Bradford, has also been getting orders from bottle shops across the country including Lincoln, Manchester, London and Edinburgh.

Matthew Halliday, managing director, said: “People had been asking for a while when Bradford beers would be available in bottles. We weren’t planning on bottling until later this year, but we were approached by Marks & Spencer for samples of our bottled beers so we’ve sped up the process.

“It was the obvious next step and we’re now in discussions with restaurants across the city who want to get Bradford Brewery beers to serve with some of the best food out there. It’s also another chance to get people further afield recognising the Bradford brand and talking about our great city.”

“We’ll shortly be launching our Christmas bottle and glass gift packs – just in time for those people who like to start planning their Christmas shopping early.”
