PM+M Gets Brains Ticking with Annual Quiz
PM+M got the Lancashire professional community’s brain matter working overtime last week with the staging of its annual quiz which took place at Ewood Park.
70 people attended with 23 teams taking part from a whole variety of sectors including financial institutions, law firms, property companies and insolvency practioners. The quiz had a Trivial Pursuit theme so questions covered history, geography, science & nature, sport & leisure, art & literature and entertainment. There was also an additional picture round.
The night raised £740 for East Lancashire Hospice.
PM+M is a leading chartered accountancy, business advisory and wealth management group. The firm was founded in 1919 and now operates from offices in Blackburn and Burnley.
The winning team for the second year running was Woodcocks Solicitors who notched up 78 points. The runners-up were Clough & Willis (72 points) and Southern Solicitors (70.5 points).
Jane Parry – managing partner at PM+M – said; “Our second quiz was a real success and it was great to see everyone really getting into the competitive spirit. The event is an enjoyable way of getting the local business community together and being able to raise so much money for such a worthwhile cause made it even more special.“
