Dow Schofield Watts relocates to support growing team
Dow Schofield Watts, the North West business advisory firm, has relocated to a new base in Daresbury, Cheshire, to support its growing team.
Having bought the two-storey Daresbury Park office block in a £1.25m deal at the end of last year, the firm has since undertaken a refurbishment program to transform the property into suitable workspace.
James Dow, a founder of Dow Schofield Watts, said: “The building will comfortably accommodate the team currently in the business but also reflects our ambition with immediate capacity to rise to 60 people.”
In the last five years, the company has seen its team of professional staff grow from 12 to 41. Since it was founded in 2002, its corporate finance team has handled 159 deals collectively worth around £3.2bn.
The firm’s new 6,000 sq ft home, in which Manchester-based Flexible Business Interiors delivered a full fit-out, includes a large seminar room, eight meeting rooms and coffee shop-style break areas.
Philip Price, Dow Schofield Watts’ director, said of the relocation: “The move into state-of-the-art new offices illustrates our confidence in the ongoing growth of the firm, as well as our commitment to providing the right environment for clients and visitors and a comfortable, efficient working environment for our team.”
