Surge Marketing Solutions – A Case Study With Monbello Blinds

Surge Marketing Solutions have recently worked with Monbello Blinds, a Middlesbrough based blind company established in 1994 who supply their products to areas such as Leeds, York, Rotherham, Sheffield and the surrounding areas. All of their blinds can be made to measure and can usually be fitted within seven to ten days. As well as a wide range of blinds they also offer curtains, shutters and cut offs with fabrics which are no longer required by the production team.

Monbello Blinds contacted the web design experts in Stockton as they wanted a brand new website design and online marketing plan in order to freshen up the company which has been handed down through generations. The previous website was built on a platform called Joomla, which the client found difficult to manage, as each version of this platform soon became outdated. Although the Joomla site was built for the purpose for ecommerce, some of the products did not show the correct prices when customers were trying to purchase products.

The client wanted Surge to create a seamless website to benefit their own use and their customers, and a site which was easy to manage.

Surge Marketing Solutions created a full responsive ecommerce which allowed the client to access the whole website alongside some added functions. One of the main functions on the new site allowed the customer to add their desired width and drop of their window which would then calculate the end price of the blinds, which could be ordered online then fitted by one of the expert Monbello Blind fitters.

Once the web designers in Middlesbrough completed the new site, the client was then able to easily add new products and content to their website, which is now fully supported.
