Award Winning 3D Animation Studio Is Reborn
Kuro Dragon, a hugely successful award winning animation studio based in Gateshead, is celebrating its 5th birthday with an exciting re-brand.
The company established five years ago by Northumbria University graduate Stuart Howard and has gone from strength to strength. The past five years has seen Kuro Dragon work with global brands such as Al Jazeera, News Corp, Universal Music and ITV. Their awards include internationally renowned PromaxBDA Gold & Silver recognition as well as multiple RTS nominations.
Kuro Dragon have also established themselves at the forefront of creating technical animations for the energy industry, becoming a leading supplier within the sector.
Over the last five years the team has travelled to exhibitions and conferences worldwide to develop their client base. The company celebrated its fifth birthday in style in April this year. The adventurous celebrations involved a rage rally experience with Karting North East, a snow tubing party and an evening drinks reception at Bonbar.
Their company re-brand was a decisive move to coincide with the 5th birthday to help aid the repositioning of the company. Stuart Howard company founder said: ‘I’m really excited about the evolution of Kuro Dragon. The re-brand marks an important stage in the company’s development and provides an excellent platform from which to expand our international client base.’
