Charity ambassador role for Sellick Partnership

Nikki Graham, associate director of legal and finance specialist recruiter Sellick Partnership, has become an Ambassador for the Maria Hanson Foundation, with the view to support and represent the charity through fundraising and promotional opportunities.

The Maria Hanson Foundation, established in 2006, is a charity which provides memorable experiences for children diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. To date more than 1,300 families from across the UK have benefited from the Foundation’s help and support.

The Maria Hanson Foundation was announced the winner of the ‘not-for-profit award’ at the Derby Telegraph Business Awards in June of this year, held at Derby College’s Roundhouse and sponsored by Sellick Partnership. Hosted by award-winning BBC East Midlands Today broadcaster Anne Davies and TV entertainment expert Paul Ross, the Foundation was up against some very strong, well-established organisations. Supporters who attended the event were delighted with the win.

Nikki says “I’m thrilled to join the Maria Hanson Foundation’s team of Ambassadors, the vital work they do is of huge importance to improving the lives of people with life limiting illness. To help raise awareness of the work they do and give back to good causes like this is an honour.”

Founder Maria Hanson comments: “Nikki has extensive industry experience and a wide professional network, making her a key contributor to the Maria Hanson Foundation. We feel it’s important to align the Foundation with great supporters and businesses and are fortunate that we were able to call on someone like Nikki to help move us in the right direction.”

With her career firmly grounded in Derby, Nikki Graham has a strong affinity with the city and sees her role as The Maria Hanson Foundation Ambassador as a perfect way to express her commitment to helping smaller businesses in the area, as well as contributing to a great cause.
