Medical Marketing - Onyx Health Talks at Netpark

On Tuesday 6th October 2015 at 8am, County Durham’s NETPark will play host to healthcare marketing communications and PR agency Onyx Health.

Onyx Health is presenting a must-attend talk for any business that has a healthcare product or service. It is entitled ’Surviving the Medical Marketing Minefield: A how-to guide for SMEs that want to sell products to doctors.’

Prescribers, purchasers, patients and policy decision-makers are just a few of the people pharmaceutical, medical device and diagnostic companies need to work with before they can get their product used within the NHS. Each has their own role to play and their own priorities, and each one requires a different form of communication. A one-size-fits-all marketing approach does not work when engaging this complex audience.

Karen Winterhalter has worked in healthcare communications for over 25 years. She has led and implemented global communications and marketing strategies for the likes of Pfizer, Lilly, Medtronic and many more. Karen has successfully launched numerous products within the healthcare market, and saved one or two struggling brands along the way.

Relocating to the North East in 2010, her team at Onyx Health now applies this expertise to help healthcare SMEs market their products to the NHS and other global healthcare providers.

NETPark’s breakfast events are informal, informative, networking opportunities designed to help engagement between its network of science, engineering and technology companies. They take place at the NETPark Incubator in Sedgefield.

There will be opportunities to talk to Onyx Health directly after the talk and to meet other NETPark businesses. The event is free for NETPark members and affiliates, or there is a small charge of £5 + VAT for non-members.

Register here or call 03000 256 505 for further details. Visit www.onyxhealth.com for information about Karen and the Onyx Health team.
